SACIT (Thailand's Institute of Arts and Crafts) is backing a "Waste to Craft" program that transforms production waste—chiefly discarded silk fiber and non-standard cocoons—into craft materials and consumer products. The initiative bridges research knowledge with local wisdom to build sustainable livelihoods and position Thai crafts for global markets.
