Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) launched a cookbook containing 23 recipes developed by 19 professional chefs from major private partners (Centara, CP Extra, AEON, Charoen Pokphand Foods, and Suan Dusit University) to address food waste across the supply chain. The initiative transforms surplus food into quality meals for vulnerable communities through Thailand's Food Bank network, emphasizing that properly managed excess food retains nutritional value and safety. This represents a practical application of food waste reduction technology and sustainable resource management that could scale across Thai SMEs in food service and retail sectors.
