Thailand exported over $5.2 billion in fresh, chilled, and frozen fruit to China in the first seven months of 2026, with durian (1.1M tonnes) and mangosteen (169K tonnes) as top products. The Commerce Ministry signed a Sino-Thai Agricultural Product Bilateral Trade MOU and is leveraging the Shuangrun Agricultural Mall in Yuncheng (Shanxi) as a distribution hub to reach 171 million consumers across three northern-central provinces, aiming to boost two-way agricultural trade and brand premium Thai fruit.
