A coalition of health agencies, civil networks, and academic institutions presented a comprehensive national action plan to Thailand's FDA to combat the 20+ year problem of steroid-contaminated health products sold in physical shops and online platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, Facebook). The strategy spans surveillance/monitoring, law enforcement coordination, public awareness campaigns, and multi-sector collaboration—addressing consumer health risks including Cushing's syndrome and kidney damage from sustained steroid exposure.
