Korean Air and Asiana Airlines (South Korean carriers under the same ownership) began offering free Starlink satellite internet on selected flights from mid-September 2026. Korean Air will equip 4 aircraft initially with plans to cover nearly all its fleet by end of 2027, while Asiana is deploying 10 aircraft focusing on medium-to-long routes to the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The service appeals to passengers seeking high-speed streaming and large file downloads, positioning both carriers competitively in in-flight connectivity.
