Thailand's National Water Resources Office (NWRO) warns of repeat heavy rainfall in the upper Nan River basin on August 23-24, with elevated alert levels across 9 districts including Pua, Tha Wang Pha, and Santi Suk. While current flooding in Nan province is subsiding and water levels returning to normal, the Early Warning System has already issued 110 alerts between August 18-21. All agencies are instructed to maintain readiness of alert systems and ensure rapid community notifications via mobile broadcast, apps, and local networks to enable timely preparedness.
