Thailand's Deputy PM and Transport Minister Pipat, alongside Industry Minister Varawut, are accelerating infrastructure projects in Suphan Buri province. Key initiatives include resolving road safety hazards on Highway 340 at "Yindee intersection" and solving rail-road crossing bottlenecks. The major strategic push is the planned 73.8 km Suphan Buri–Bangkok–Ban Pachi railway (Missing Link) with 5 stations and 2 cargo yards, currently in design and EIA phase (targeting completion January 2027). This rail corridor will bypass Bangkok, connecting northern, Isan, and southern networks to boost logistics efficiency for agricultural, livestock, and processed goods—critical for Thailand's regional economic integration and supply-chain competitiveness.
