Thailand's Department of International Trade and OSMEP launched the DFT+ initiative to boost SME export competitiveness. Eighty Thai entrepreneurs visited Hong Kong in August 2026 to participate in the HKTDC Food Pro exhibition, conduct business matchings with 60+ regional buyers, and study retail operations and green business practices. The program generated 101 million baht in immediate deals and projects 350 million baht in 1-year transaction value. This state-supported program aims to facilitate the "Local to Global" transition by combining market exposure, B2B connections, and knowledge transfer.
