Ubisoft has changed its PC strategy by removing the mandatory installation of Ubisoft Connect for games purchased on Steam. Instead, a new "Ubisoft Connect Services Steam" tool will handle achievements, cross-platform save synchronization, and server connectivity. This rolls out initially with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and will expand to other titles, improving Steam player experience.
