SCG CBM has invested 1.057 billion baht to establish Asia's first smart lightweight brick factory in Songkhla, producing 3.9 million sq m annually with just 26 production staff. The facility addresses a 30+ year supply-chain gap: the Southern region still relies 80-90% on traditional red brick despite lightweight alternatives existing for decades, due to high transport costs. The factory features dual-sided automated separation and full production automation, achieving 3x productivity per worker and 1.5x faster processing than conventional plants.
