TOA Paint, Thailand's leading paint and construction chemicals manufacturer, has partnered with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation to implement a carbon credit forest management programme spanning 111 communities across five provinces (Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Tak, Yasothon, and Amnat Charoen) covering 6,000 rai. The initiative aims to restore forests as natural carbon sinks while creating sustainable livelihoods for local communities, aligning with TOA's Net Zero emissions target by 2050. This expands TOA's earlier reforestation work in Loei and Udon Thani and demonstrates how Thai corporates can address climate change through both emissions reduction and carbon sequestration.
