GULF (Thai real estate developer) has invested in 10 solar-powered greenhouse farms in Udon Thani, enabling smallholder farmers to shift from seasonal labour migration to year-round vegetable cultivation. Each greenhouse generates 32,000+ baht annually through 8 production cycles, with solar pumping systems reducing manual labour while improving produce quality and household economics. The initiative combines sustainable energy with rural community development based on the late king's philosophy.
