Thailand's Ministry of Finance is launching the second tranche of its 'Savings Plus' government bonds (4 billion baht) starting September 4, maintaining the same interest rates (1.80% for 3-year, 2.80% for 10-year terms). The first round massively oversubscribed at 8× (16.5 billion baht in orders from 22,700 retail investors). Round 2 tightens purchase limits: maximum 1 million baht per transaction via the TNAB wallet (down from 3 million), while total holdings remain capped at 50 million baht per investor. Two channels: wallet-based (first-come, first-served; Sept 4–15) and Bond Connect Platform (pre-orders Sept 7–9, equal distribution). Relevant for Thai retail savers and SME financial planning.
