Thailand's Digital Economy Ministry (DE) is switching the AI Passport (TH-AI Passport) pre-registration domain from .net to .go.th upon official launch on 31 August. The project exceeded expectations with 1.13 million registrations by day 3. Officials apologized for not warning users in advance about the domain change and acknowledged the lack of clear communication, though data will not be lost. The government also defended contract modifications and disclosure delays as routine procurement processes.
