Canonical and Qualcomm are partnering to deliver a full-featured Ubuntu image for Snapdragon X2 processors, launching in 2027. The release will support all hardware components including Oryon CPU, NPU, Secure Processing Unit, Wi-Fi 7, and 5G connectivity, targeting enterprise customers and developers needing ARM-based Linux development machines that match server environments. Developer preview builds will roll out beforehand.
