The Thai government has approved dual-track railway projects in southern Thailand and is advancing large-scale road infrastructure. The Transport Ministry is developing motorway M82 expansion, completing the N8 highway parallel to Petchkasem Road (Nakhon Pathom to Prachuap), and planning to upgrade the Prachuap-Songkhla route into a full motorway with dedicated right lanes. These projects aim to improve transportation capacity and logistics connectivity across 14 southern provinces.
