CKPower, a major renewable energy producer in the region, has commissioned a new 5 MW solar power plant in September (in partnership with BEM) and expects supportive hydro conditions for the second half of 2026. Water inflows through the Xayaburi dam were 17.7% higher H1 2026 vs. H1 2025, boosting electricity sales 11.2%. The company also expects NN2 reservoir to replenish during the rainy season, and its BIC cogeneration plant has resumed full operations after planned maintenance. These developments position the company to grow its renewable portfolio and optimize asset utilization.
