ZBHA International Limited has launched Dolphin, an AI-powered water rescue robot, to the Chalong Police Station in Phuket—the first deployment of such autonomous water rescue technology in Thailand. The robot operates at 7 m/s, carries up to 1,000 kg, and automatically deploys to drowning victims detected by integrated CCTV and sensors. With plans to expand to Pattaya and all 11 police stations in Phuket plus other tourist areas nationwide, this deployment aims to reduce water-related deaths in tourist zones to zero, addressing an average of 12 drowning deaths annually in the Chalong area.
