Thailand's Competition Board (กขค.) held a Focus Group on 11 September 2026 with ride-hailing and on-demand delivery platform operators to develop service standards. Platform operators emphasized that Gross Profit (GP) is not pure profit but covers rider compensation, technology, marketing, and personnel costs. They urged the state to integrate overlapping regulations from multiple agencies and apply consistent rules to all market players, formal and informal, to level the competitive field. Policy recommendations will be submitted to the Board by October 2026.
