Thailand's National Nanotechnology Center and digital pharmacy platform Arincare are partnering to distribute an innovative kidney disease screening kit (AL-Strip) to 3,000 pharmacies nationwide by 2026. The AL-Strip detects early-stage kidney disease through microalbumin screening in 5–15 minutes at point-of-care, addressing a critical gap: with 11M+ chronic kidney disease patients and a 15–20B baht annual budget burden, most cases go undiagnosed. This commercialization bridges government-funded R&D with practical market infrastructure, leveraging Arincare's 6,000-pharmacy network and digital platform to enable early intervention and reduce healthcare costs.
