Thailand's government is scaling up the 'Thai Tourism Plus' subsidy program, doubling participant slots from 500,000 to 1 million and increasing budget allocation to 3.5 billion baht (from 1.75 billion). Registration launches October 1st on the 'Pao Tang' mobile app, with implementation expected by December. The program aims to support tourism operators hit by energy crisis impacts and boost tourism recovery in flood-affected northern regions like Nan during the winter season. Each person can register up to 5 slots.
