Thailand's state power utility (กฟผ.) is leveraging its existing high-voltage transmission infrastructure, fiber optic networks, and technical expertise to position Thailand as a regional digital hub for sustainable data centers. With a 45 billion baht investment planned, the utility aims to provide stable power supply, renewable energy integration, smart grid management, and water/cooling expertise to support large-scale AI data center operations while reducing carbon emissions and building competitive advantage.
