Thailand's State Railway (SRT) and Mahidol University have signed an academic cooperation agreement to jointly develop rail system innovation and research. Key focus areas include studying Red Line extensions (Sirirach–Tallingchan–Salaya and Salaya–Nakhon Pathom segments), improving station-to-community connectivity, enhancing service efficiency and safety, and developing personnel through training and research programs. This partnership aims to apply academic expertise to real-world rail operations and management challenges.
