Key announcements include a "1 million rooftop solar" programme opening for registration in October, targeting 10,000 MW of buyback capacity at 2.20 baht/unit over 20 years, plus biofuels (B20, E20) support. The Power Development Plan 2026 aims to raise clean energy to 65% within 25 years and increase solar capacity beyond 20,000 MW—critical for data centre demand (8.8 GW). Collaboration across government, private sector, and universities will establish a 2040 vision for the south.
