Cabinet has approved a 7.2 billion baht water reservoir project in Chanthaburi to support water security for the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and broader eastern region development. The dam will supply irrigation to 87,700 rai and support growing water demand across agriculture, industry, and public consumption. The project is part of 38 strategic water development initiatives for EEC, with strict environmental and forest protection compliance required before construction.
