Thai Union Group (TU), Thailand's largest seafood processor and a major regional food company, raised its 2025 sales growth target from 3–4% to 4–6% on the back of strong Q2 performance. The company posted record gross margins of 21.4%, raised interim dividends 14.3% to 0.40 baht/share, and increased full-year gross margin guidance to 19.5–20.5%. All product segments (processed ambient seafood, frozen shrimp, petcare, and value-added) showed consistent volume growth. CAPEX was reduced to 5.0–5.5 billion baht, signalling improved capital discipline. This signals confidence in demand recovery and pricing power across key export markets (US, EU) and emerging consumer segments.
