PTTRM (PTT Oil and Retail subsidiary) submitted the sole bid to develop and operate rest areas on the M6 motorway (Bang Pa-in–Nakhon Ratchasima, 196 km) with 15 rest stops worth 2.019 billion baht over 32 years (2 years construction, 30 years operation). The parallel M81 motorway (Bangkok–Kanchanaburi, 96 km) attracted no bids due to perceived lower traffic potential; authorities will revise incentive terms. Contract signature expected February 2570 (2027), with full operation by 2572 (2029).
