Energy Minister Eknath announced bilateral talks with 17 countries on energy security amid Hormuz tensions, new energy sources, LNG Hub development, ASEAN Power Grid connectivity, green power for data centres/AI, and clean-tech initiatives (SMR, hydrogen, CCS). Key outcomes include a US-Thailand MoU on Small Modular Reactor feasibility study and a Thailand–Oman energy co-operation framework with policy dialogue mechanism.
