PM Anutin Charusathiarana signed an order appointing three expert members to the Data Center Policy Board: former Permanent Secretary Choti Trachu (Ministry of Natural Resources), former Dean Supoj Techavorasinkul (Chulalongkorn Engineering Faculty), and Deputy VP Theerawat Chearasiriphong (Thammasat University). The board now comprises 21 members with expanded oversight of data center projects, including criteria for investment approval, energy efficiency, data sovereignty, environmental protection, and carbon neutrality targets—key for Thailand's digital infrastructure development and tech investor confidence.
