The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is implementing four new regulatory measures to strengthen corporate governance and investor protection. Key changes include: (1) applying stricter caution and suspension criteria (CC and SP flags) when independent directors or audit committees are incomplete—with delisting timelines shortened from 2 to 1 year; (2) enhanced reporting on risky transactions and shareholder changes; and (3) new qualification standards for internal audit heads (minimum 5 years experience or 3 years in internal control roles). These measures aim to improve transparency and incentivize listed companies to address governance gaps quickly.
