Deputy Prime Minister Anutin chaired a business meeting between 9 major Thai companies and New Zealand government/private sector representatives to explore collaboration in smart agriculture, clean energy, biotech food, and advanced technology. Key opportunities include upgrading Thai agriculture through R&D and technology (exemplified by CP's protein extraction research), developing clean energy partnerships (B.Grimm and PTT exploring collaborations), and attracting NZ investors with technology while helping Thai SMEs find opportunities in NZ. Thailand is leveraging 3 trade agreements (TNZCEP, AANZFTA, RCEP) and promoting itself as an ASEAN production/service hub under the Thailand FastPass initiative.
