GIZ and Thai government agencies have partnered with B.Grimm Power to launch a strategic roadmap for industrial energy transition and carbon reduction, focusing on two pilot industrial zones in Chonburi and Pathum Thani. The study identifies near-term implementable measures (energy efficiency, renewable energy uptake) alongside longer-term infrastructure and technology investments needed to support Thailand's decarbonization target. The initiative establishes a replicable area-based collaboration model linking industrial estates, energy providers, manufacturers, and government to address technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact in transitioning Thai industry toward a low-carbon economy.
