Myanmar's government has outlined a 100-day economic roadmap prioritizing agriculture, energy, and manufacturing to boost exports and stabilize the economy. Thailand's Commerce Ministry is closely monitoring these policies—particularly import licensing restrictions imposed since August 2025—and plans to use an upcoming Joint Trade Committee meeting by year-end to negotiate trade barriers and support Thai exporters navigating the changing business environment. Myanmar was Thailand's 21st trading partner in 2025 with 244 billion baht in bilateral trade.
