Thailand's Rubber Authority is accelerating a database covering 1.4 million rubber farmers and 15.5 million rai of plantations to comply with EU's EUDR deforestation regulation. The initiative includes "civil agriculture" model (mixing crops, livestock, and water management on rubber plots) now covering 75,000 rai, and aims for farmer income of 15,290 baht/rai/year. Thailand holds 20.3% of EU natural rubber market share and qualified as "Low-Risk," requiring only 1% customs inspection, but must strengthen traceability data and geographic coordinates to retain competitive advantage and increase export value.
