TEDA, a subsidiary of Samartprop (94.35% owned by Samart U-Trans), has won a 2,080.71 million baht contract with EGAT (in a 52/48 consortium with Sinohydro Thailand) to develop power transmission systems in Nan, Phrae, and Uttaradit provinces to support electricity imports from Laos. TEDA's share is 1,101.54 million baht. This increases the group's total backlog to nearly 16,000 million baht (from 14,889 million baht), with revenue recognition over 2–3 years. Construction is scheduled for completion within 24 months.
