The Board of Investment approved 55 new projects totaling 4.8 billion baht in combined support, comprising 48 Business Transformation projects (3.54 billion baht investment, 1.663 billion baht subsidy) focused on technology upgrades, automation, AI, and green industry transition; and 7 Skill Bridge projects (307 million baht subsidy) targeting 10,180 workers in priority sectors. Cumulatively, 108 projects will develop 76,728 high-skilled personnel, generate 3.9 billion baht annual revenue increase, boost domestic procurement by 7.1 billion baht annually, and create 1,500 jobs with emphasis on AI engineers, automation specialists, and R&D roles. Core sectors include agriculture, food processing, electronics, automotive, and digital industries.
