Cloudflare has launched Cloudflare Wallet, a digital payment system enabling AI agents to autonomously spend money on services. The wallet uses a two-tier architecture: a human-managed master account that controls deposits and spending limits, and virtual sub-wallets for individual agents accessed via API keys. Payments are made using the x402 protocol with stablecoin settlement via a Monetization Gateway. Identity verification occurs through cloudflare.pay accounts, replacing raw cryptographic identifiers with readable names. Registration opens today, with full rollout within months.
