Thailand's National Nuclear Technology Institute (INTI) has signed an MOU with Altervim (Charoen Pokphand subsidiary) and 12 other government, academic, and industrial partners to establish HOTNET—a hub of talents for nuclear energy technology. Funded by the National Research Council, HOTNET aims to develop expert networks, build workforce capability in nuclear technology (especially SMR), and prepare Thailand for clean energy transition and emerging climate challenges. Key objectives include creating a national expert database, developing curricula, promoting research, and aligning with international standards—positioning SMEs and the nation for future nuclear and energy innovation.
