Six state-owned financial institutions (GSB, BAAC, KBANK, BBL, TMB, UOB) have launched emergency relief measures for flood-affected customers across Thailand. Measures include 3-6 month payment suspensions at 0% interest, emergency loans up to 20,000-300,000 baht for living expenses and business recovery, and special SME lending up to 5 million baht with government guarantee backing. Customers in disaster-declared areas are automatically notified and can opt-in or remain on original terms. This addresses immediate cash-flow distress for affected households and small businesses during the recovery phase.
