GULF is developing a 1,000 MW data center park in its first phase with strong customer demand, and is preparing to leverage the new Power Development Plan 2026 (PDP 2026) to sell electricity directly to its facilities via Direct PPA arrangements. The company is also exploring investment in renewable energy and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology, positioning itself as both a buyer and seller of electricity. GULF emphasizes its competitive financial costs, scale economies, and ability to offer competitive electricity pricing—ultimately benefiting Thai consumers and supporting Thailand's clean energy transition requiring 3.5 trillion baht in renewable investments.
