A significant oil leak from Bangchak Group's fuel pipeline in Bangkok's Khlong Toey district has been confirmed by Thailand's energy ministry. The contamination of the city's drainage system stems from the pipeline operating beneath Chuea Phloeng Road, with corrective measures including immediate repairs, comprehensive pipeline inspection via pigging technology, and potential long-term rerouting to prevent future incidents. The operator (BFPL/BPT) is held fully liable for all damage.
