Thailand's leasing and auto-collateral lending sector posted strong H1 2026 results. MTC reported 15% YoY profit growth to 1.9B baht (Q2) and 3.7B for H1, with credit portfolio up 8% to 188.7B baht; targeting ~10% annual growth. SAWAD grew H1 profit 22% YoY to 3B baht despite cost controls and branch restructuring; advancing digital transformation via e-KYC and mobile lending. SAK showed resilience with 3.4% H1 profit growth amid geopolitical headwinds, with agricultural lending growing strongly. All three companies managing credit quality well (NPL ~2.6% for MTC) and preparing for H2 growth, targeting high-return product portfolios and digital expansion.
