Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed charges against six individuals and entities—including international developers of the Holdstation and UNO cryptocurrency trading platforms—for operating unlicensed digital asset brokerage services targeting Thai users. The SEC has instructed the Ministry of Digital Economy to block access to both platforms as of October 1, 2025. Thai users holding assets on these platforms are urged to withdraw and transfer holdings to licensed exchanges or personal wallets before the access blockade takes effect. This enforcement action signals the regulator's tightening stance on unauthorized crypto trading apps marketing services in Thailand.
