NCC (Sirikit Convention Centre) revealed comprehensive behind-the-scenes sustainability infrastructure for the RUN FOR MOM 2026 half-marathon event, managing waste from 8,000+ participants through three parallel waste streams (food scraps, recyclables, general waste) and real-time carbon footprint tracking. The event achieved carbon offset of 325+ tonnes CO2-eq while diverting 1,490kg of waste from landfills, marking the first time the facility's operational sustainability systems were systematically documented and disclosed to the public.
