ETDA is releasing a comprehensive fee-transparency guide for e-commerce and ride-sharing platforms by October 2026, requiring disclosure of all charges (GP fees, payment fees, infrastructure costs) in the "Total Take Rate." The agency has registered 2,133 digital service platforms and fielded 23,525 complaints Jan–Aug 2026 (down 14% year-over-year). Key emerging issues include fake agricultural products, illegal loan apps, and online gambling scams. ETDA is also studying minimum ride fares for delivery riders, with a 15-day deadline (completing 11 Sept 2026). This is a material step toward clearer platform economics for SME sellers and gig workers.
